About Andrew

I was born and raised here in the Philadelphia suburbs. My wife and I have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. I have been a volunteer firefighter and an Emergency Medical Technician. I got into IT quite by accident. At Widener University, my initial course of study was Accounting and Business. My first real job was in the accounting department of a small firm in West Philadelphia. They had a computer system (ancient by today’s standards), which was used for all accounting and inventory functions. They had gaps in the system’s capabilities, and I soon found myself enhancing their software using Assembly language and punch cards. Shortly thereafter, I switched my studies into Computer Science.

Why Andrew chose Entech

I chose Entech for a variety of reasons. Most of my career has been spent working for large, multinational pharma and financial institutions. Having an opportunity to work at a smaller firm was very appealing. The opportunity to expand into newer technologies with the forthcoming lending platform has been very exciting.
